FMTSO - Macro

This week's prompt at Friday My Town Shoot Out is "Macro" (showcasing my town up close and personal).

So to get up close and personal I thought I would walk around my garden and pick some plants and flowers. So here they are:

.

And here is one taken up the hill from where I live. These are Grasses - NZ Ornamental Tussock, native to New Zealand and can be seen everywhere.

  4. I love the 'chics and hens' as they are called in the USA - A neighbor here in Brasil gave me one and it had a very delicate white flower but never sent out the 'chics' and then just died. I assume they are of the bromeliad family and generally bromeliads do not like to be transplanted.... that my escuse and I'm sticking to it.

  5. Wow - that first one really captures a macro feel, the plants all squeezed together in a small space.
