FMTSO - Patriotic

This week's prompt at Friday My Town Shoot Out is Patriotic.

Here is the Indian flag on top of the Mantralaya in Mumbai. Mantralaya is the administrative headquarters of the state government of Maharashtra and was built in 1955.

And here is the New Zealand flag on top of the Beehive - one of the NZ Parliament buildings - in Wellington.

  2. What impressed me is how small the cars are in that photo. They are so big over here!

  5. Love the flag on the Beehive shot, Suzy. Great for the topic even if I sometimes don't feel very patriotic about the folk inside the Beehive.

    1. Thanks Susan. Yep, they kindle that in me too. The Mantralaya without the flag would not look so imposing.

  8. Cool...sadly there was a fire at the Mantralaya a fortnight back, where the last 3 floors were destroyed and 3 people lost their lives.
