This Moment - A bird's eye view

This Moment - Soule Mama
A single photo capturing a moment
A simple, special, extraordinary moment
A moment I want to pause, savour and remember

I love watching the birds that dive in and out of my garden.

A few days ago I snapped these little birds doing a bit of bird watching of their own atop my camellia plant and taking in the birds eye view of the scenery.

It's fascinating how they perch and balance on top of thin little twigs.  They look so cute.

One is easy to spot, you might have to search a little for the other one!

This is the moment
This is the time
When the momentum and the moment
Are in rhyme
Give me this moment
This momentous moment ...

  1. The thought of one moment in time, captured in a photo is mind expanding. I remember doing that in my memory some years ago when I knew my life was about to change. I can still recall the amazing colors in the sunset and the walk along the beach.

    1. Hi Francene. It's quite amazing how much one remembers just by looking at a photo.

  5. I love backyard bird watching too! I have an enormous jasmine outside the bedroom door where all the sparrows, finches and chickadees like to roost. It's so cool to watch them all come out, sometimes 20 at a time, jumping down out of the jasmine like paratroopers. Love birds.

    1. Hi Eli, it would be fun to see the world from up above. I was surprised to see it in my pic as I hadn't noticed it when taking the pic.

  7. Beautiful! I'd love to hear him sing. :) I was just talking about hearing a bird singing this morning while chanting. I've never appreciated them more than I've come to appreciate them over the last couple of years. Birds are great! <3

  9. Beautiful picture. We see a lot of birds where I live and I always wonder what they're thinking - they focus and stay still for the longest time.

Happy week to you, Suzy! :-)
