This Moment - Soule Mama
A single photo capturing a moment
A simple, special, extraordinary moment
A moment I want to pause, savour and remember
Focus on This - Books
My birthday present to myself finally arrived. I've been waiting a long time for this. There is always something else more important to buy or other birthdays to consider. I decided I was going to save and that saving was not going to be used for anything else. I finally did it!
And now I can read my kindle books on the way to and from work. The bus ride is a lot more fun now.
Three of my favourite books on my kindle dashboard ... The Bhagavad Gita (currently reading this), The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran (my all time favourite), and Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice (a literary classic).
So here is my "single" picture for this week's This Moment.
This is the moment
This is the time
When the momentum and the moment
Are in rhyme
Give me this moment
This momentous moment ...

Awesome :) I love Pride and Prejudice! Happy Belated Birthday btw!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenn. I loved the movie too. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteHappy belated birthday! Pride and Prejudice, a literary classic, indeed! Love the quote at the end.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy. The quote is from the song "This is the moment" from Jekyll and Hyde. And it is so true. All things happen when the moment and the momentum are in rhyme. Thanks for dropping by.
DeleteI LOVE my Kindle and the Kindle App that I have on all of my android toys. No matter what toy I pick up to go with me when I leave my house, I still have my books!!! All 1257 of my books! Gotta love it!
ReplyDeleteYep Darlene, I feel that way too though my kindle app only has a handful right now. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteVery nice! Loved the three favorite books, I'm sure your collection will grow soon. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sonal. Have to really stop myself downloading books. Hope all is well in your world.
DeleteVery cool! I still love reading good old fashioned turn the page books you have to hold.

Thanks Kathy. I thought that too until I got my ipad. I still love reading the newspaper!
DeleteI am glad you are enjoying your Kindle, I find mine a boon for travelling.
ReplyDeleteHi LindyLou. Yes I am enjoying it heaps. I was stuck in a traffic jam on my way home today and I didn't even notice the crawl home.
