Thought I'd do something different for the Letter P at ABC Wednesday.
So ... Playing with 6 words and then a Pot of pretty flowers
So ... Playing with 6 words and then a Pot of pretty flowers
A stressful week is finally over
Gruelling Uni assignment completed on time
Was it my test or son's?
Glad that week's behind us now
and on a completely different note
Flowers at the market look lovely
There is always something that uplifts
The Universe is a mind reader
Each week at the supermarket I would stop and look at the flowers and I loved the little butterflies in them. And what a surprise, my friend dropped by on my birthday with a pot of pretty flowers and a butterfly!

Those are such pretty pot plants. I can't be trusted with these though ---I always end up killing them! Hope the next week is less stressful and that you had a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sanch. Me too - there is only 1 plant in the world that loves me. But the flowers are surviving and I can always keep the butterfly!
DeleteA very "p"layful post and "p"retty flowers, too!
ReplyDeleteSamuraiFrog, ABCW
Thanks SamuraiFrog.
DeleteGreat thought of the day, lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sulekha
DeleteSaw your link on Cate's Alphabe page. I have a whole big list of "X" words if you want to play with any of them. Like your potted plant display. Reminds me of the Watermelon Patch I found a couple of months ago.
ReplyDeleteI am not a plant grower, Mrs. Jim gave me a lemon tree plant a few years ago. The first year it had six lemons, then none for years. But this year it has three lemons. Different? I moved it into afternoon shade and where it got more of the watering for the grass.
..
Thanks Jim. I'm not much of a gardener either but I do love pretty flowers :)
DeleteMy mom used to.prepare for our exams... Like she's actually going to write.it. Loved.your 6 word sentence. The.flowers always uplift me. Beautiful and colourful , they can make any day bright.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rajlakshmi. I think all moms sit exams. It's the price we pay for being moms :)
DeleteAhh...beautiful blooms...Flowers can be so uplifting no? Infact , nature as a whole...This week the rose bush in my balcony died and I felt so bad because every time it bloomed it brought a smile to my face

Oh no that's sad. I hope you get a new rose plant. I love roses.
DeleteLike your blog idea Suzy! And such a pretty gift for you, a powerful manifestor: how synchronistic! ;) <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Elly. that's what I thought and I guess I focussed a lot on it without getting too attached. Perhaps that's the secret to manifestation - now onto manifest other things :)
Deletebeautiful pix and yes if the intention and awareness is present...what we desire we do get it in some time...a strong believer of intentions :)
ReplyDeletehappy birthday Suzy and wishing you a carefree life like the butterfly :)

Thanks Ruchira. So true that what we truly desire, we get. We should be careful what we desire :)
