Deceptive weather


Deceptive weather today - sunny but cold



The weather is very deceptive today. The sun is shining, there's only a slight breeze,  it's Summer but it is cold.

Tidbits this week

Drove (or should I say, got driven) North to a town called Levin for work. Implementing some new hardware and software upgrades there.

And the diligence shown by my project team paid off as the implementation went well.

Delighted that New Zealand won the Wellington Rugby Sevens. Enjoyed watching the games and as always screamed my head off.

Don't know why but this week all I wanted to listen to was Hindi music. Perhaps my roots were calling?

    My wife always champions the sunshine. I do not, especially when it's below freezing!

    Our sun has been bright and ..... it's very cold. It was very blinding yesterday as I drove home from the mall. My grass and trees aren't as gloriously green as your's. You look out the window and the sky looks like summer.

      Thanks Banker Chick. It was warm and cosy inside and looked warm outside until I stepped out and felt the cold.

    I often immerse myself in Hindi music. It takes me back the country I love and visit quite often.

    It is so true, during this time of year, it gets so much colder and the wind fierce and strong, but the sun shines, briefly!

    Cold in summer? That's not good, but at least the sun shines. We have dreary winter here and the sun is elusive. Nice photo!

      Thanks Debbie. Can't really complain as we had some really hot sunny days this Summer. Still hoping the nice weather lasts just a little bit longer.

    We have that kind of weather, too. Looks gorgeous from the comfort of the house, stabs icily the moment we step outside.

    It is beautiful if cold.
    It's funny how certain music can take over our imagination. I think it is especially true with music from our youth.

    Oh I have had those days when all I wanted to do was listen to old hindi songs! Something so comforting and soothing about the lyrics, the composition of those sweet oldies...

    We too experience such deceptive weather here, sunny outside cold everywhere. But sunshine in any form is welcomed by us. :) glad you had a good week Suzy. :)

      Thanks Vinitha. The Wellington weather is very unpredictable. We can get all 4 seasons in just one day.
