A moment I want to pause, savour and remember

I almost skipped this week's This Moment as I hadn't found a captured moment - just too busy at work and home.

And then as I was sitting at the table and looking out to the hills in the evening, I looked up and saw the moon. It looked so pretty and I had to take a picture, capture this moment. So here it is ...

The moon fascinates me. I always feel very calm when I look at the moon.

This is the moment

When the momentum and the moment

Most days the clouds just race by or are so thick you can't see the sky at all.

Then all of a sudden a cloud appears in the blue sky - that's very still and seems to take shape.

Here's one that appeared a few days ago and the moment I saw it "Angel Wings" kept repeating in my head.

My picture doesn't do it justice. It looked quite magnificent and feathery which isn't quite captured in my picture.

This is the moment

This Moment - Cotton wool clouds

A moment I want to pause, savour and remember

Some days the views in the morning surprise me. The hills look different everyday.

On Tuesday I awoke to this scene. Low cloud settling on the hills. "Cotton wool" was the thought that came into my mind.

When I was little, we used to make models of the countryside with hills, trees, rivers and little houses. And the winter ones had cotton wool to simulate the snow. This scene reminded me of those days and cotton wool snow.
