Some days Trees look so grand
I meant to post this on Saturday but something or the other came up. Most days we take the scenery for granted. After all we see the same things day after day and a tree is just a tree.
And then on some days, everything looks different and you start to notice the beauty in all things.
It was on a day last week when the trees looked so grand and out came my mobile.
So here they are ... Trees

I agree...there are some fantastic trees if we take the time to notice!
ReplyDeleteThanks PB. I've been noticing them more and more - and they are so calming.
Deletebeautiful captures... I loved the second one the most.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rajlakshmi. That is a nice looking tree.
DeleteBeautiful pics, Suzy :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Shalini.
DeleteLovely captures. I liked the second one the most too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shilpa. That is a grand tree.
DeleteWhat beautiful tree photos! So different from our Canadian trees as yours look more tropical for warmer climates. Palm trees only survive in shopping malls around here!
ReplyDeleteI adore trees, too, Suzy and was heartbroken recently when hubby had a bunch of ash trees cut down on our property because of the risk of the ash borer bug destroying them.
I love photographing very old trees as they're so majestic. They have such a story to tell since they've been there so long and seen so much. Throughout our four seasons, trees look so different and I love taking photos of them.
Thanks Cathy. That tree is the Nikau Palm. The tree has adapted well to New Zealand's temperate climate. Perhaps your ash trees will grow again.
DeleteMajestic! That's the word that comes to mind when I see big old trees. Beautiful pictures, Suzy. There is something so grand and noble and calming about trees.
ReplyDeleteThanks Beloo. Trees just look so peaceful - like nothing can topple them.

ReplyDeleteTrees are such good subjects for photographs :) They remain still as long as you want except for those occasional ruffling :D

ReplyDeleteLove your pix and thanks for linking up!
Thanks Ruchira. The last picture is of the tree I thank each morning for shelter from the wind rain and sun. Nature is so refreshing.
DeleteI love trees! Especially unique, gorgeous, huge trees...but I love every day trees too. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Mail4rosey for dropping by and leaving a comment. I love trees too.
DeleteThose really are beautiful trees. One of the things I love about our house is we are surrounded by trees. Trees make me happy!
ReplyDelete:-)

Thanks Traci. Trees make me happy too. I like a street with trees.
DeleteYes, I knew those trees were not indigenous to the US! Nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Roger.

I've always enjoyed trees, photographing them, and especially being around them.
