Growing urge to try Creative Crafts
Some days ago I went out for lunch with a friend and on our way back we stopped at a magazine stall to browse. And then this magazine caught my eye.
I've always wanted to try quilling so bought this on impulse. Will have to try my hand at it soon. I used to love making cards before e-cards took over. But now there's so many ways to share something you create - like whatsapp etc. Thought it was time to add the personal touch again yet combine it with technology.
Here are some cute designs that I'd like to try.

I like that kind of magazine too but I'm rubbish at making things. My daughter inherited all that kind of skill :( Love the balloons!

ReplyDeleteThanks Mlissabeth. Have started and it is fun.
DeleteI have a pattern for letters. I keep thinking I will make my initials. But quilling looks like it requires patience and I do not have a lot of that.
ReplyDeleteThanks Patricia. Will see how long my enthusiasm lasts. So far it's been fun

Pleasure to have you on board :)
Those look really fun, Suzy. I like hands on projects like that, too. Something satisfying about using my hands with paper scissors and glue rather than a mouse and keyboard. If you do make some, I hope you will post them.
ReplyDeleteFun! I hope you will share the quilt with us later on. Thanks for fragging!

I look forward to the pics. My mum also does quilting and she's quite passionate about it. Hope you enjoy it :)
ReplyDeleteMy cousin started quilling recently and that's all she can talk about. So it must be interesting. Good luck!
