Focus on This - Perigee Moon

This week's focus is on the moon at Blogging For Fun.

These are some pictures I took of the "Super Moon" that appeared on May 6 2012.

These pics were taken the next day - early morning of course.

The May super moon was 14% bigger and 30% brighter than other full Moons of 2012.

The scientific term for the phenomenon is "Perigee moon".

    1. Thanks Jan Neel. In Indian astrology, it's the moon that has the greatest influence rather than the sun.
