Focus on this - Trees

This week's focus is on trees at Blogging For Fun

I love palm trees. I think they are the most elegant trees I have ever seen. I love photographing palm trees whenever I visit Mumbai.

So here are a few taken in Mumbai.

  1. Dear Suzy Q, palm trees can be seen everywhere in India but the pictures you have put up here seem to kindle nostalgia within me. The real sight and the one is photographs, though similar, evoke two different emotional states of mind!

    Joy always,
    Susan

    1. Hi Susan, these pics and others always make me homesick. Must be time for a visit to Mumbai.

  2. We have no palm trees here, so for me they always remind me of wonderful trips to Florida and California. We have an art festival here that I go to every year, and one of the artists sells aluminum palms. I always want to buy one, because the tree reminds me of such happy times. But, of course, I do not have thousands of dollars to spend on a fake tree. Heck, if I had that much cash lying around, I'd probably take another trip and see the trees in real life again!

    1. So true Cherie. I hope my pics compensated somewhat for a trip to see the palm trees in reality. And I hope you'll make many trips to California and Florida and other places in the world that have palm trees.

  7. My in-laws live in Florida and I always love seeing the palm trees there when we visit. They are so different from what we have here up north!
