The hills look different every day
I love the mountains and hills but it's only been lately in the last couple of years that I've really started to notice the hills around my house and connect with them.
Each day I see something new in them - they look so different every day.
A few days ago I was fascinated by how the sun was playing with the hills and I wanted to capture that moment.
So here it is ...
This is the moment
This is the time
When the momentum and the moment
Are in rhyme
Give me this moment
This momentous moment ...
(from Jekyll and Hyde)
(from Jekyll and Hyde)
Mother Earth is so beautiful - and different aspects of nature play with each other - if only we would really see and truly comprehend.

A single photo capturing a moment
A simple, special, extraordinary moment
A moment I want to pause, savour and remember
It looks like a beautiful view!

ReplyDeleteThat's a great view! Perfect for contemplation over a cup of coffee or tea!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dorothy - and contemplation over a cup of tea is exactly what I do.
DeleteSo peaceful and pretty.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cyndy - On days like these it is very serene.
DeleteWonderful picture. I never thought spring was as colorful as fall however I have changed my mind.
ReplyDeleteThanks - it is Autumn here in New Zealand but the Spring is very colourful too around here.
DeleteThat is a pretty view! I liked the poem too. I think we all need to be more aware of our surroundings and to be thankful for the beauty we see!
ReplyDeleteHave a good Sunday and a great week ahead!

ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole.
DeleteI LOVE this picture of the hills/mountains as seen from your home.
ReplyDeleteTwice I have gone to a tiny village called Sabinillas up in the mountains south of Monterrey, Mexico. Your mountains look just like those. We were told that Sabinillas means "little sheets" because the mountains look like a rumpled sheet.
I can see it, can you?
Thanks Keetha. I can see those sheets - oh how fascinating - thanks for that - a different view :)
DeleteI can just smell the fresh air! I would love to live in a hilly area some day, but hubby doesn't :(
ReplyDeleteHI Cinella - true, the air is very fresh around here. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteThey are gorgeous hills, I've always been a fan of hills and their curves.
DeleteThanks Unknown Mami. I love mountains and hills too.
DeleteA gorgeous photo of the sunlit hills!
