Thursday Challenge - Symmetry

I'm back online again so hopefully will be back into the swing of things.

Thursday Challenge's prompt this week is Symmetry - balanced, similar, rhythmic, centred, harmonious.

So here's a picture I took some years ago in Dunedin, New Zealand. This is in the grounds of Larnach Castle.

NaBloPoMo 19 - FMTSO - Symmetry

This week's challenge for Friday My Town Shoot Out is Symmetry.

And Dunedin, New Zealand turned out to be a place full of symmetrical buildings, gardens etc.  Good opportunity to showcase Dunedin, another beautiful and spectacular city in New Zealand.

So here are my pics taken some years ago. (click on pics to enlarge)

Larnach Castle Dunedin

Not really a castle but more like a big mansion.

The tour inside was interesting. I enjoyed it. Reviews on trip advisor are however mixed. But I think it just depends on your interest whether you enjoy the inside or not.

The gardens were amazing and the views from the turret were spectacular.

Here are some pics (click on pics to enlarge)

The Double Decker Bus

It's great fun to ride the double decker buses - that is sitting on the top deck.

London isn't the only city that has double decker buses.

Here are a bus in Dunedin, New Zealand and a bus in Mumbai, India.

The Mumbai bus brings back fond memories of sitting in the front on the top deck - was such a thrill.

The Steepest street in the world

Dunedin is a pretty city with spectacular views, the home of New Zealand's Cadbury Chocolate factory, Larnach Castle and Baldwin street.

This is Baldwin Street, Dunedin, considered to be the steepest residential street in the world.
