Frosty the Snowman
How can you not make a snowman when it's snowing?
Today I decided I was going to be a kid again and make one.
I had thought I would make one at least 3 feet tall but ended up with a tiny little guy as it was so cold and my hands froze.
Here he is ... Frosty the snowman (or Pingu the snowman as the kid calls him).

Bellagio, Las Vegas
The Bellagio is based on the Lake Como resort of Bellagio in Italy.
The Christmas decorations were beautiful and the ceiling was quite amazing.
And the fountains set to music were so much fun to watch. The day we were there, they danced to "Hey Big Spender".
Here are some of my pics.
check out the fountains Bellagio - Hey big spender - on youtube

Luxor, Las Vegas
Las Vegas is such a fun city. Over the next few days I'll post some of my pics from Las Vegas.
And I'll start with The Luxor.
It's the closest I've been to the pyramids. (The real thing is of course on my places to see list).
The Luxor looks pretty grand from the outside but the inside is quite eerie.
An interesting fact about the Luxor (taken from wikipedia): The tip of the pyramid contains a fixed position spotlight that points directly upward and is claimed to be the brightest beam in the world.
