And here is one taken up the hill from where I live. These are Grasses - NZ Ornamental Tussock, native to New Zealand and can be seen everywhere.

ReplyDeleteI love the 'chics and hens' as they are called in the USA - A neighbor here in Brasil gave me one and it had a very delicate white flower but never sent out the 'chics' and then just died. I assume they are of the bromeliad family and generally bromeliads do not like to be transplanted.... that my escuse and I'm sticking to it.
