This Moment - 6WS - SIMC - First Snow

The first snow is always exciting

It rarely snows in Wellington so when the hills get a sprinkling of snow it's always so exciting.

Today is the first official day of winter but I think winter came last week. It was so cold.

But the hills looked so beautiful with the snow.  I took this picture from my workplace. By the time I got around to taking it, some of the snow had already melted. Still pretty though.

The hills behind Eastborne

Are in rhyme

    1. Thanks Restlessjo. I enjoy all the seasons but Winter just seems colder each year. But watching the snow from afar is divine.

  6. We're passing ships. Last weekend we had (what I hope will be) the final snow of the season. Today, sunny & actually almost hot, feels like summer's premier (we almost never have Spring here in Vermont).

  8. Beautiful -- such a gorgeous vista!

It's too hot here for me (New Jersey USA) so I wouldn't mind a little more of the white fluffies. But everything in its season, I suppose.

    Enjoy the day :)
