The first snow is always exciting
It rarely snows in Wellington so when the hills get a sprinkling of snow it's always so exciting.
Today is the first official day of winter but I think winter came last week. It was so cold.
But the hills looked so beautiful with the snow. I took this picture from my workplace. By the time I got around to taking it, some of the snow had already melted. Still pretty though.

ReplyDeleteThanks Me. :)
DeleteGreat photo, Suzy. I'm so glad to have left Winter behind and have just a hint of Summer here in the UK. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Restlessjo. I enjoy all the seasons but Winter just seems colder each year. But watching the snow from afar is divine.
DeleteAnd here we pray for some sun.
ReplyDeleteHi Soulbrush, I'm praying for the sun too - so the Winter is not too cold. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteWhat a fabulous view!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tilly. Glad you liked it.
DeleteI totally love snow too Suzy but I hope your winter doesn't last as long as ours has!
ReplyDeleteHi Georgia. I hope so too and I also hope its not a brrr one.
DeleteWe're passing ships. Last weekend we had (what I hope will be) the final snow of the season. Today, sunny & actually almost hot, feels like summer's premier (we almost never have Spring here in Vermont).
ReplyDeleteHi Ron, Yep I enjoyed the hot weather while the Northern half was freezing to death - I guess its our turn here down under - hopefully not a long one or a freeze to death one!
DeleteVery pretty—what beautiful blues! ☺
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend. :)
Thanks Dana. Enjoy your weekend too - ours is a long one for the Queen's Birthday - yay!
DeleteBeautiful -- such a gorgeous vista!
ReplyDeleteIt's too hot here for me (New Jersey USA) so I wouldn't mind a little more of the white fluffies. But everything in its season, I suppose.
Enjoy the day :)
Thanks Kayleigh - I enjoy all the seasons - but thankfully there are 4 in the year so we never tire of one. Enjoy your week off.
DeleteLovely view! Tornadoes have been ravaging the Midwest were I live lately...but not in my town and I am thankful. Weather is changing and ya never know what will come next! :) Enjoy your view...and have a lovely Saturday!
ReplyDeleteLinda @ Truthful Tidbits
Thanks Linda. Glad you are safe and hope the tornadoes don't come your way. Enjoy your weekend.
DeleteThat is a pretty view, and probably would be without the snow!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mlissabeth. It is pretty even without the snow. :)
DeleteIt seems so weird to hear someone talk about snow when we are,at last, having a bit of sunshine.I had to actually check the date in your post incase I had somehow pressed the wrong button and gone to a earlier post.Enjoy the snowy view :-) x
