One Too Many ... #BarAThon

I am taking part in the Blog-A-Rhythm Bar-a-thon challenge. The theme can be anything that requires grit and endurance, but not necessarily fitness related. And there are daily prompts.

So my theme is simple, it's a blogging marathon about things to do with me in pictures, starting at one and ending at seven.

I'm not explaining this very well but perhaps the pictures will speak for themselves.

This mug was handpainted by me.  Some years ago my friend and I spent an afternoon at a cafe where you could purchase pottery and paint it. So this was my attempt. Not too bad but the best part was the fun we had together. I now use this as a pen/pencil holder.

This mosaic piece was given to me by my son. He made this in his woodwork class in school. Handmade gifts are very special and I love this one.

I shared two pictures for One so perhaps one too many? But I couldn't make up my mind so had to share both.

Do you have any artefacts that are special to you? Share in the comments below and tell us why they are special.

Check out some other posts for Day 1 #BarAThon

Warm Regards

  2. Its so pretty. Homemade always trumps the store bought. My kids are now more into "printing" a birthday letter etc. Instead of using hand. :P

  9. Both the cup and the mosaic piece are so beautiful and creative. Loved them. I am art challenged, so dont have any such creative pieces, but my son dabbles into painting every now and then and I love some of his artworks!
